A natural food that combines sweetness and its exclusive taste to important anti-bacterial and energetic qualities. We are talking about honey, a natural product that man has cultivated for centuries thanks to the bees that produce it, obtaining a tasty and natural nectar.
Terre di Miele, a company from Zafferana Etna, a small town near the highest volcano in Europe, has produced honey for the past thirty years. Between Sicily and Calabria, Terre di Miele produces different varieties of this product, using organic agricultural techniques and respecting the rhythms of nature. Amongst the various types of honey produced there is the polyfloral, which has a sweet and long-lasting taste and it is also excellent to detoxify the liver. The orange honey, typical of Sicily and the Italian southern regions, recalls the fragrances of orange-blossoms and is a good remedy against insomnia and nervous excitement.
The eucalyptus honey, which is used in the treatment of coughs with its strong and caramel taste. And last but not least the lemon and chestnut honey, each one with a peculiar taste and special nutritional qualities. Obviously every lot of honey has a number according to the type, year and month of production, after having been divided on the basis of quantity and type. Nothing is left to chance in order to have the best product possible, the result of a century-long tradition that renews itself day after day in a unique combination between man and nature.
