Three objects that Elisa Claps was wearing when she disappeared in Potenza were recognized by her mother and brothers. The student from Potenza disappeared on the 12^th of September 1993. The police showed her family some pictures with pieces of a jumper, a medal and sandals found together with human remains under the ceiling of the manse of the Santissima Trinità Church in the historical centre of Potenza.

The carabinieri and the police are investigating the place where the girl was found. According to the police, some workers found the corpse, which resembled a mummy, and now the police are analyzing the objects found, amongst which there are also a pair of glasses.

A mystery 17 years long. Police immediately started to look for the girl, who was just 16 years old, but nothing was ever discovered. That day, it was a Sunday, Elisa was seen for the last time in the Santissima Trinità Church in Pretoria road at around noon.
