The magistrate of Milan asked for the closing of the investigation in which Berlusconi was accused of having manipulated the market by L’Espresso group. The petition was presented after the Prime Minister’s speech during a congress of young industrial businessmen, in which he invited them not to advertise their products on the newspapers controlled by the De Benedetti family. According to the prosecutor, after Berlusconi’s words, the group wasn’t damaged and so there was no manipulation of the market.
