International drug smuggling discovered, 36 people arrested in Rome

The carabinieri of the Province of Rome discovered a criminal organization involved in international drug smuggling. The leader was Carmine Fasciani, a Roman criminal boss. 36 people were arrested, 29 in Italy (Rome, Frosinone, Naples and Catanzaro) and 7 in Spain, 26 people reported.

 

They are all accused of criminal association in import and handover of drugs. 15 million Euros is to the total value of the assets that the carabinieri seized. During the operation, started in 2008, the carabinieri managed to seize, in Italy and abroad, 1,823 kilograms of hashish and cocaine.
