A recipe a day… crumbed and fried mushrooms

Ingredients:

 

Fresh mushrooms (large if possible); breadcrumbs; eggs; frying oil (peanut, sunflower or corn); salt; lemon to season (if liked).

 

Preparation:

 

Clean the mushrooms, pat dry and cut them into slices.

Dip them into the beaten eggs and then into the breadcrumbs.

Fry the mushrooms in hot oil to brown. Drain and set aside on absorbing paper.

Serve hot after having seasoned with salt.
