Italy coach Marcello Lippi has warned against caution against Ireland in Dublin Saturday even though the Azzurri only need a point from their last two World Cup qualifiers to make it to South Africa.

''Thinking qualification is already in the bag is dangerous. We need to get the job done and we might as well do it now,'' the coach said ahead of the clash with Giovanni Trapattoni's Irish, who picked up a point in Italy six months ago. In-form Vincenzo Iaquinta of Juventus, scorer of the opener that looked set to give Italy a win in Bari until Robbie Keane struck late, is set to lead the line again and will have at least one equally aggressive player alongside him. Serie A top scorer Antonio Di Natale is vying with Fiorentina's recharged striker Alberto Gilardino for the slot just behind the Juve frontman.

Tricky Juve rightwinger Mauro Camoranesi is expected to trouble the bulky Irish defence while AC Milan playmaker Andrea Pirlo will be looking to shake off his club's blues and provide killer passes like the one that set up Fabio Grosso for the opener in last month's fine home win over Bulgaria. In front of a back four lacking suspended skipper Fabio Cannavaro, in-form Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi looks set to get the nod ahead of Gennaro Gattuso who is still short of his 'pitbull' best after an ankle injury. Italy are four points clear of Ireland and a share of the points at Croke Park would put the world champions through as Group Eight winners. Ireland, who are five points ahead of Bulgaria, are odds on to go into the best losers' play-offs as their last match is at home to unfancied Montenegro. Italy, even if they don't finish the task in Dublin, host group winnows Cyprus in their final game, with Cannavaro back to celebrate Italy's bid for the cup he raised in Berlin in 2006.
