The acknowledgement of human hard-work and creativity, but at the same time a prize for the sacrifice of man to reach success for himself and other people. The Filippo Mazzei-The Bridge prize highlights human work as an input for the future, stated Aurelio De Laurentis, who invited the president of NIAF (the most powerful and incisive Italian-American lobby), Joseph Del Raso, to organize a sports event with US Napoli in New York’s stadium, and to improve economic cooperation for the Italian-American

film industry.

The prizes were given to well known American, Italian-American and Italian people who gave their contribution to building a bridge between Italy and the United States. The USA and Italy are intensifying their relationship with companies for a common goal, a bridge that unites Italian creativity with American pragmatism. “This was the Filippo Mazzei – The Bridge prize, a human heritage that will build and not destroy bridges”, said the director and organizer of the event Pino Tordiglione. Amongst the awarded people there were Saverio Moschillo, 23 showrooms, 9000 customers worldwide and a 300 million Euros income a year; Carlo Aquilino Villano of OMI s.r.l, thanks to a contract signed with Boeing and valid until 2043 that will change Southern Italy. There were also Maurizio Seravini, an engineer from Tuscany and expert of cultural heritage and the founder of the first University on this subject in San Diego (California). Let alone Dominic Massaro, from Irpinia, head judge of New York’s Supreme Court and finally Joseph Del Raso.
